Searching With Spotlight

The easiest way to find something within a Mac system is to use Spotlight. This is a search tool located in the top right of the screen that looks like a magnifying glass. It can be used to find files and folders, but will also highlight items with the search words in them.

To perform a search - click the icon and type in whatever you wish to search for; a list of top results will then appear. Click to open the relevant one.
