Portrait Landscape

The portrait/landscape tool is found in FILE > PAGE SETUP > ORIENTATION > PORTRAIT/LANDSCAPE.

This gives you the opportunity to alter the page layout, depending on your needs.

For Example -

When writing a letter, it would be recommended that you would use portrait.
If making a slideshow, the page layout would most usually be landscape.
